Hello. One thing I have found useful during lockdown is building Lego.I found myself suffering from anxiety and this helps! I got myself a Classic Lego set and I am now building lots of different models. Does anyone else on here use Lego? I always loved it as a child. There's loads of ideas online. Please post some pics fellow Lego modellers!

On the commute
https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/tales-from-todays-commute.105055/post-7567940I'm sure I saw someone else post one recently. It's been on since the bike was new, 10 years and at a guess 40,000 plus miles but still a bit of a surprise. They don't make them any more I think (5800) but surprisingly managed to score one off Ebay for a princely £80 and even in silver and 175 length (Yes, it's silver under the commuting crud). Probably worth getting a new BB...

A thread specially for 'persons of leisure' and independent means, or those with aspirations. How do you while away those lazy days? How do you cope financially? When did you retire? Is retirement what you expected? How long did you take to adjust?Etc.Tell us what you are up to today or what plans you have.Or just have a bit of silliness to while away those lazy hours.I've been busy today. What’s a good vehicle for a work commuter, general run around for around £2000? Petrol or diesel. Low down torque is a bonus, as is good mpg. Smiles per miles. TIA.

In today's news, speeding drivers in France caught doing 31mph or more over the speed limit will now earn themselves an actual criminal conviction. The conviction will be a 'delit' level job, roughly equivalent to a lower level indicatble offence in the UK, so a significant blot on knes copybook. Not something you'd want on your CV, particularly if youre in a profession that requires a CRB check (evidence of reckless behaviour, propensity to not follow safety rules, rtc)I applaud the...

Wondering if there's sufficient interest on here to keep a thread going on what wildlife we've come across during the day, out on the bike, in the garden, from work, whatever.Recent encounters for me were a ladybird on Sunday and a sparrowhawk on my way to work yesterday.

Plenty of cyclists out there who own a car made by the prancing moose. About time we had a thread of our own to discuss the trials and tribulations of Volvo ownership, and generally pat each other on the back for driving superior cars. So, who else drives a Volvo, and wotcher got?

I am considering buying a Pocket Rocket folder: But I would like to hear from anyone - Richard? - who has one to give me some idea how it compares to a regular bike in terms of handling. The gearing is the same as my Scott Carbon but does weigh more, about 6 lbs: Scott 16 1/2 lbs, Pocket Rocket 23 1/2 lbs.How does it handle hills? Clearly with my 700's on the Scott compared to 20" wheels on the Rocket every rotation of the pedals is going to take me less distance so I will have...
